O. Kleiner Uses PacXpert to Produce Brainypack – An Innovative Flexible Packaging

The company has started using Dow Packaging’s PacXpert to produce Brainypack, a flexible packaging for fillings amounting to a maximum of 20L in size.

Kleiner’s CEO – Martin Kleiner, said they have a helpful replacement for rigid packaging in PacXpert, which they are now using to produce Brainypack. Compared to standard rigid packaging, Brainypack shows tremendous promise as it consumes up to 40% less raw materials for its manufacture. The empty pouches of Brainypack take 90% less transport volume while the product uses up to 60% less material for its disposal.
All these features contribute towards increased transportation efficiency with empty packages being shipped flat, thus lowering carbon dioxide emissions.

The license to produce and sell PacXpert Packaging Technology rests with seven converters at present. This includes Ampac, O. Kleiner, Laygapack, Darplas, Lord Plásticos, Camada and Kyodo Printing Co. With an innovative design, it’s possible to empty the packaging, which would mean less wastage of the filling product.
