What sealant is heat resistant?
There are a few different types of sealant that are heat resistant, but the most common is silicone sealant.
This type of sealant can withstand high temperatures and is often used in applications where there is a lot of heat exposure, such as around ovens or fireplaces. Silicone sealant is also very flexible, so it can expand and contract with the heat, which helps to create a tight seal.
Xylan is one of the most common sealants used in heat sealer machines, and other forms of sealing, including vacuum sealing, because it offers good adhesion to polyethylene.
