How to apply/use

VpCI® 417 Safe-T-Charge takes the exceptional cleaning and degreasing properties of VpCI® 417 to the next level. Packaged in polyvinyl alcohol bags (PVA), Safe-T-Charge 417 ensures safe and easy handling and measuring. To use, simply insert the VpCI bag into the wash system. Let the bag and powder to dissolve. Here are some specific percentages for different cleaning levels.

For light cleaning tasks, simply use 2% (by weight) VpCI® 417 in water. When dealing with machinery, offshore equipment, tanks and rail cars, with medium deposits, a 3% (by weight) concentration of VpCI® 417 in water is ideal.

For heavy-duty maintenance and cleaning challenges, such as tough drilling mud, grease, crude, bilges, concrete surfaces, and structures, a 5-10% based on weight VpCI® 417 in water is recommended. Even steam cleaning becomes a breeze with just a 2% (by weight) VpCI® 417 in water solution.

Properties

The properties of VpCI® 417 are truly impressive. It appears as an off-white to beige powder with a pH range of 11.8-12.8 in a 1% aqueous solution. The non-volatile content is consistently maintained between 97-100%, ensuring its reliability and efficiency.
