Cortec CorroLogic® Tube Strips powered by Nano VpCI

CorroLogic® Tube Strips, enhanced with Nano VpCI® technology, are specifically engineered to safeguard pipes, conduits or tubes during storage or transit.

By harnessing the power of VpCI® technology, these strips offer an effective solution for preventing corrosion within tubes or pipes, eliminating the need for costly internal coatings. Crafted from flexible material, the strip boasts a diameter of 1/3 inch (8.5 mm). Each tube is made and combine with low-density polyethylene infused with a unique VpCI® compound, meticulously formulated to protect both all metals and alloys, whether nonferrous or ferrous.

Method of application

You can insert the Tube Strips into the tube or pipe and subsequently capped or sealed. The length of the Pipe Strip should match that of the pipe itself. Within a short timeframe, the vapors emitted by the Pipe Strip permeate the enclosed air space. Even in environments with high humidity or water vapour, the VpCI® vapors effectively shield the metal surface, thereby arresting the corrosion process.

Limitations

CorroLogic® Tube Strips powered by Nano VpCI® are ideally suited for pipe diameters up to 6 inches (15.2 cm). However, for pipes exceeding this diameter, alternative solutions are recommended. These recommendations include Cortec® VpCI® powders (VMCI 307®, VpCI®-309, and VpCI®-609), Cortec® Pouches (VpCI®-308 Pouch, VpCI®-309 Pouch, and EcoPouch®), or VpCI®-150/VpCI®-170 Tapes.
