What can be anticipated when parts that are already corroded are packaged in VCI products?

VCI products are designed to slow down and stop the corrosion process. 

However, VCI products cannot reverse or undo existing damage caused by corrosion.

VCI products should be used as soon as possible after parts become corroded to minimise further damage and extend the life of metal components.  Additionally, VCI products can help prevent future rust and corrosion by providing a protective layer against environmental contaminants.

VCI products are best used as part of an ongoing rust prevention strategy and should be actively monitored for any signs of wear or moisture damage.
