Is a heat sealer the same as a vacuum sealer?

Alex Todd

A heat sealer is a ‘single operation’ device that relies on heat and pressure to create a clean, reliable seal on your chosen materials.

A vacuum sealer operates by first extracting the air from the bag then conducting the heat seal, this reduces the size and weight of the packaging. You can also flush the packaging prior to sealing with a preservation gas such as Nitrogen.
