How do you seal a flat pouch?

When sealing flat pouches, it is best to first consult the MSDS (material safety data sheet) or TDS (technical data sheet) to find out the optimal sealing conditions for the packaging film itself.

Once you have decided on a suitable heat sealer machine that is compatible with your flat pouch the process itself is relatively straight forward. Consult the machine manual for instructions and best practice advice.

Regulated environments like laboratories and clean rooms have their own standards to adhere to but outside of that when sealing you just need to ensure your work area, packaging and machine as clean as possible, free from any dirt, debris and contaminants.
