Exceptional Adhesion
One of the key highlights of VpCI® 381 is its exceptional adhesion property. Moreover, its resistance to UV radiation is unparalleled, safeguarding surfaces from the detrimental effects of prolonged sun exposure.
Excels in Aesthetics
In addition to its protective prowess, this remarkable protective coating also excels in aesthetics. It delivers a remarkable gloss and clarity, enhancing the visual appeal of coated surfaces. Whether for industrial equipment, infrastructure, or other assets, VpCI® 381 proves to be a top-tier choice for reliable and visually pleasing protection.
How to use / apply
To effectively apply VpCI® 381, you have two options: spraying or brushing. For optimal results, it is recommended to achieve a film thickness ranging from 1.5 to 3 dry mils (37.5 to 75 microns). This ensures proper coverage and protection.
When applying the coating, allow it to dry to the touch, which typically takes around 20 to 30 minutes. However, bear in mind that full curing requires patience, as it may take approximately one week. During this curing period, the coating reaches its maximum protective potential.
Application / uses
VpCI® 381 is a highly versatile and innovative corrosion-inhibiting solution specifically designed for various applications in the metal industry.
General Metal Sector
This inhibitor effectively safeguards metal surfaces, components, and structures from the damaging effects of corrosion. It extends their lifespan and ensures optimal performance.
Manufacturing Industry
Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) also benefit significantly from the implementation of VpCI® 381 in their production processes. By incorporating this advanced corrosion inhibitor, OEMs can provide their products with enhanced protection. It guarantees long-term durability and customer satisfaction.
Machinery and Equipment Industry
Moreover, the machinery and equipment industry extensively relies on VpCI® 381 to preserve the integrity of critical machinery and components. By employing this advanced corrosion inhibitor, companies can mitigate the risk of corrosion-related breakdowns and reduce costly maintenance. This VpCI increases operational efficiency and saves valuable resources.
VpCI® 381's effectiveness stems from its unique Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI) technology. This technology releases special molecules into the air, forming a protective molecular barrier around metal surfaces, even in hard-to-reach areas. The barrier effectively blocks the interaction between moisture, oxygen, and metal surfaces, halting the corrosion process altogether.
In addition to its robust corrosion protection properties, VpCI® 381 is environmentally friendly and safe to use, ensuring compliance with the most stringent industry regulations and eco-conscious practices.
Storage and Packaging
VpCI® 381, a highly effective corrosion inhibitor, is offered in a range of packaging options for convenient storage and handling. These options include 5-gallon (19-liter) pails, 55-gallon (208-liter) drums, liquid totes, and bulk containers, catering to diverse industrial needs.
To maintain the product's integrity and effectiveness, it is crucial to prevent freezing during storage. Therefore, it is recommended to store the VpCI® 381 in temperature-controlled environments to ensure its optimal performance. By adhering to proper storage practices, you can safeguard the product from any potential degradation caused by extreme temperatures, thereby preserving its corrosion protection properties.
