EcoSonic® ESD Stretch Film is high performance that contains inhibitors for multi-metal corrosion and protection against ESD.

Plastic film's limited electrical conductivity necessitates additional precautions in packaging applications where static discharges are prohibited. During stretch-wrapping applications, pressure and friction cause static discharges. These can be fairly large and cannot be dissipated through grounding.

Cortec® Laboratories created this specialist film for electronics, munitions, fertilisers, and other industrial applications where static discharge could cause hazardous packaging conditions.

  • It passes NACE TM0208-2018 corrosion protection standards.
  • It meets the anti-static criteria outlined in MIL-PRF-81705 E.

Available packaging width options are 20” (50 cm), 18” (45.75 cm), 15” (38 cm), and 12” (30.5 cm). The thickness may vary between 1.0 mil (25 µm) and 1.5 mil (38 µm). All options can be customised based on your specific needs.

To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C).
