Cortec EcoShrink ® is a compostable film for shrink wrapping. It aims to make the "circular economy" a reality while also meeting conventional packaging requirements.

EcoShrink® is certified industrial biodegradable and intended for use in regular heat-shrinking applications. Users can shrink-wrap any size of components using EcoShrink. With this flexible and versatile packaging item, wrapping components are streamlined and the shrink film conforms to the shape of the object.

EcoShrink® can be discarded in an industrial composting setting after use. As a result, there is a reduction in the quantity of plastic packaging that would otherwise wind up in a landfill.* EcoShrink® is stable and can retain its integrity until properly discarded.

Packaging & Storage of Compostable Film

Packaging includes single wound, centrefold sheeting, rolls, or cradle-packed pallets. Width per package may range from 18” (45.72 cm) or 36” (91.44 cm). Shrink film thickness is 2 or 4 mils (50 or 100 µm).

To guarantee optimal product performance, keep it in its original packaging. Store indoors with the room temperature at 40-100 °F (4-38 °C). Keep away from direct sunlight.

Features

  2. Lay down the film in the designated prepping area, ensuring cleanliness and dryness.
  3. Arrange the products or items on the film.
  4. Pad out any sharp corners and edges.
  5. Wrap the items with film.
