Cortec EcoShield® is a recyclable barrier coating and completely reusable, eliminating the need for traditional wax and polyethylene papers.

In addition, you can apply the coating on recycled and kraft paper to protect the surface from corrosion caused by contaminants. EcoShield® Barrier covering is a packaging industry pioneer because it combines a contaminant sealant with a repulpable covering for kraft paper. This material can also be used to coat corrugated box liners, providing a moisture-resistant barrier. EcoShield® Barrier Coatings also provides exceptional grease and oil resistance.

In the past, wax and polyethylene coatings were used to cover corrugated, sheets and porous paper, waterproofing or vapour-proofing these materials. The resulting paper product is an environmental hazard that cannot be recycled by conventional means.

Packaging & Storage of Barrier Coating for Paper

Packaging options are available in plastic pails (5 gallons or 19 L), liquid totes, bulk and metal drums (55 gallons or 208 L). Before using, mix thoroughly.
