What is VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor)?

VCI stands for Vapor Corrosion Inhibitors.

VCI is a chemical compound that works to reduce corrosion by releasing invisible molecules into the air around metal components, forming an invisible protective layer. VCI molecules are attracted to metal surfaces, causing them to react and form a barrier against humidity, oxidation, and other corrosive agents.
