NatraSorb can be supplied in three formulas:
- NatraSorb® M (Montmorillonite Clay Desiccant) - NatraSorb M utilises a controlled drying process on the naturally occurring magnesium aluminium silicate. Moisture can be both taken on and given up repeatedly with NatraSorb M, even when used repeatedly bags experience no substantial swelling or packet deterioration.
- NatraSorb® S (Silica Gel) - This form is hard, clear, porous and amorphous. A sodium silicate and sulfuric acid combination is used to produce the NatraSorb S, each granule contains a large volume of submicroscopic pores which can attract and hold water vapour physically. This occurs through surface absorption with capillary condensation, Up to 40% of it’s own weight in moisture can be adsorbed.
- Hi-Dry ® (Molecular Sieve) - Molecular sieve is a synthetic desiccant produced from sodium alumino silicate that is activated by a network of linear pores and empty cavities for absorption. Where temperatures exceed 77°F and the relative humidity is below 40%. The Hi-Dry blend has an excellent capacity for moisture absorption.
