Over 100 Global Companies to Participate in Paper Arabia This Year

In its 8th edition, this year to be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, from 14th to 16th September, Paper Arabia a leading specialised event for the paper industry.

This Year well over 100 companies and brands from over 45 countries will participate. The Saudi Paper Group (SPG) will be the main sponsor of this Year’s event.

What is Paper Arabia?
This is the largest paper industry exhibition in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia regions and takes place annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The event brings together paper manufacturers, paper merchants, paper distributors, paper converters, and other paper industry professionals from all over the World. It is one of the biggest and most important paper industry events of the Year with a vast range of package solutions presented. The exhibition gives its attendees an amazing opportunity to network and learn about the latest paper-led technologies and products. It also features a huge range of paper-related products, including pulp and paper, tissue paper, packaging paper, paperboard, and much more. The event is essential for anyone who is involved in the paper industry and is well known for its up-to-date information on the latest news in the industry as well as being the best place to network with like-for-like acquaintances.

The Label Printing and Digital Packaging Market in 2015
The label printing and digital packaging market were worth a huge $10.5 billion in the Year 2015. A recent report stated that this amount is equivalent to around 107 billion A4 prints purchased. A global report “The Future of Digital Print for Packaging to 2020″ has stated that more than 600 million A4 prints of the label printing and digital packaging industry, worth $59 million this year, are done in the UAE. This amount of production is either consumed locally or traded to other countries and regions including North Africa (Mena), the Middle East, and Asia, as emphasised by the exhibition organisers in the 2015 event.

The organisers have also stated that the paper industry is experiencing a period of outstanding growth in terms of total investments, production, exports of machinery, and importing products. The fact that there is participation from 100 companies from 45 countries shows huge positive signs for the industry.

The Role of the Exhibition for the Paper & Pulp Segment
The 2015 exhibition will act as an essential platform to bring together the biggest industry players and traders to help them interact and talk about business. The participants in the event at this show include the leading players from global markets in the tissue, converting, packaging, and paper sectors said Lamyae Zafati. the Exhibition Manager of Al Fajer Information and Services (organisers of the exhibition).

The Growth of Paper Packaging in the UAE
It is expected that within the UAE paper packaging sales are going to continue to grow strongly which is mainly down to the increased consumption and increasing demand for recycled products and sustainable product packaging. According to Zafati, there of five main sectors of the paper packaging industry, with paper and board, which includes foil containers and paper cartons, being the largest category with a global market share of 34%.

Zafati also stated that the tissue, paper, and converting industries will showcase the latest technologies on display at the show. At the show, there will also be presentations with a variety of sealing machinery products displayed that will target the paper mills. There will also be a wide variety of household papers to showcase for end users including sustainable solutions that have many benefits to all sectors and users.

In the three-day show, major industry players and small businesses will represent their businesses by displaying their newest and most modern products and solutions for the entire product chain, from pulp to production, distribution, retailing, wholesale, and marketing and trade products to potential customers. This exhibition is essential for each company to showcase their quality containers and packaging to their customer.
