The second day of the show will start with The Live Design Challenge. It’s a timed competition where three design companies will compete head to head, in an attempt to design a rugby carton to honour the Rugby World Cup.
The Innovation Showcase will be another feature to have its debut at the Packaging Innovations show. It will be featuring the most recent innovations from the packaging industry. After the exhibitors submitted their entries, Easyfairs – the show organisers, have sifted through them to pick a special group of winners.
Visitors will have a chance to see these innovative, interesting industry leading designs at The Brand Innovation Theatre, where the winners will present their concepts and ideas between 13:30-14:30 on the first day of the show.
For the first time this year, the Rising Star scheme will be introduced. It has been designed for young brands and aims to help them achieve their packaging goals. With this scheme, companies and start-ups in their infancy will be able to find the right solutions for their company.
This includes the right products and suppliers, thus enhancing their brand and taking their packaging to the next level.
Like the past, this year too, Packaging Innovations will feature content-rich seminars, featuring major brands and leading speakers from Marks & Spencer, Müller, Nabeel Perfumes, Short Form Consultants and Liberty.
On the first day of the show, there will be a drinks reception for all visitors to Packaging Innovations, providing them with an opportunity to interact with colleagues, exhibitors and contacts.
