Brimming with improvements in processing, packaging, food safety, materials, technology and sustainability, Pack Expo is one show that food processors looking for innovations shouldn’t miss. This year, the show will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from the 28th of September till the month end. The show will be sponsored by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies.
In 2015, Pack Expo will celebrate its 20th year in Las Vegas.
The show floor will offer hands-on-training throughout the entire duration of various events. Visitors will be able to interact with experts who will explain about the breakthrough technologies used in packaging and processing. They’ll also share their knowledge about the current regulations and address matters related to food and beverage processors, which are required to ensure the progress of projects.
More than 1,800 providers of packaging and processing solutions will display on the Pack Expo show floor. The show will remain open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. For the first time, this show will be co-located with Pharma Expo in Las Vegas. This will give a chance to the participants to network with colleagues across various industries and share their ideas.
Who Will Benefit from Pack Expo?
Approximately 30,000 visitors from across the globe are expected to attend Pack Expo. Visitors will be able to explore technologies from more than 40 packaged consumer goods businesses, including beverage, food and personal care.
Innovation Stage Education Sessions will be held each hour, with the end session at 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and noon on Wednesday. Sessions would include topics related to:
* Creation of an extremely engaged workforce
* Regulatory dangers for flexible food packaging
* How packaging will be affected by snacking trends
* Packaging technologies related to anti-counterfeiting
* How advancements in digital sorting would facilitate food processors in achieving yield and quality objectives
* Use of ozone to disinfect poultry and meat operation
* Ways to be ready for the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and much more
Visitors to the Pack Expo can keep their knowledge levels updated by visiting The Center for Trends & Technology (CTT). It will have informative kiosks, presentations and an interactive wall displaying various advancements that will give visitors a good understanding of the recent technologies.
The Food Safety Summit Resource Center will offer a free 30-minute presentation and one-on-one consultations addressing solutions and issues related to food safety.
Pack Expo will have industry-specific pavilions. This will include the 12th Annual Showcase of Packaging Innovations, The Brand Zone, The Processing Zone, The Confectionery Pavilion and The Reusable
